Director – Operations and Strategy
Juppan Sandhu is a Psychology graduate from the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada,
and an elected student representative on the university senate, serving consecutive terms since 2023. He has
contributed to committees such as Senate Governance, Faculty Standards, Student Appeals, Honorary Degree
Selection, and Faculty Excellence Awards, among others.
Committed to community development, Juppan volunteers with the Fraser Valley Healthcare Foundation in British
Columbia, where he helped establish the youth committee and chaired its strategic development team. He also
founded the OTT Transformative Trust in India, which empowers rural communities through skilling, healthcare,
and education. Rooted in the spirit of “ਨਿਓਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਓਟ,” the Trust bridges opportunity gaps for subaltern
communities with initiatives focused on women, children, and the differently abled.
Beyond academics and volunteering, he is an avid golfer and writes on social issues for Midpointe Journal.
